Biff is in hot pursuit of your favorite teenage time traveler, Marty Mcfly, when Marty rips away a peculiar looking scooter from some local children. However, this just isn’t any normal scooter, it’s a Hoverboard and without it Mcfly would have surely been captured by his nemesis. Now I know what you’re all thinking, we should all be flying around with jet packs and riding the skate park with our newest LG Hoverboards but the reality is the technology hasn’t quite made this mode of transportation viable. That’s what you think.
The newest water-sport that’s sweeping the nation is called Hoverboarding or Flyboarding depending on how high one goes. This new lake adventure is just now becoming popular and with hover/fly board businesses “popping up” all over the place, one can try it out for a few $100 dollars. If you've always dreamed of flying high above the lake while jettisoning large amounts of water from your feet then this sports for you.
The basic principle is, two people go out on a jet-ski with your board and hose. The hose hooks up to the jet-propulsion and sends the boarder into the air, typically up to 30 feet. Want a thrill, just try it. It will take the average amateur a few times to get the hang of it but it’s not as hard as you think. Just hold on keep your weight on the back foot and lift off.
