Located along Grand Lake St. Marys, in the quaint city of Celina Ohio, a great little music festival is held every year at the local Moose Lodge. Rain or shine, lodge 1473 offers the premier end of the summer party at Grand Lake St. Marys. This all day music festival is host to hundreds if not thousands of lake goers, boaters, locals and die-hard Moosestock veterans from all around. This marks the 16th year for the event and with a great list of bands, two stages, and a legendary fireworks display anyone stopping out for the event will be sure to leave happy.
Starting off at 1:00pm on Sunday September 6th Cherry Blonde will hit the deck stage. They will continue playing the deck throughout the day in between main stage bands. According to their website Cherry Blonde is a six member, party rock cover band that performs high energy iconic pop/rock hits from the cassette era.
Next up at 4:00pm on the main stage is a Tri-State band called Joey Said No. This four person band usually bring a good crowd and plays modern rock hits, country and pop dance songs and classic rock.
Hitting the main stage from 6:30pm to 8:30pm will be the Michelle Romary Band. Michelle Romary Music is fronted by singer, songwriter, and recording artist, Michelle Romary. Along with her musicians, Efrain Hernandez (drums), Blake Kniola (bass), and Dave Shaw (guitar), and production manager Scott Franz. Their unique song catalog is extensive and includes decades of Top 40 Hits from all genres including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Standards, Motown, Country, Blues, and everything in between.
Closing out Moosestock will be the fan favorite arena rock tribute band Electrik Circus. Taken directly from their website, Electrik Circus is “Big Hair, Big Lights, Big Sound.” They proudly welcome back and pay tribute to the Hair Bands of the Eighties featuring the most popular arena Rockers and Ballads of the era.
Moosestock offers ample parking for bikers and cars alike. If it’s boating you’re looking for, Moose members are able to enter an auction for one of the many boat slips that are available. Both members and guests are welcome, with free entry and great drink specials anyone can come out and have a blast. Mark your calendars and come out September 6th 2015 for this annual event.
